Cheese

Cheese is especially a wonderful thing. I don't know if real mice care for it, but I certainly do.

Of course, one must decide what one calls cheese. Personally, anything that is processed is not considered cheese by me. It has a strange plastic flavour. Perhaps its because I've had other cheese ever since I was created.

I am not picky beyond that however. I have heard of some mice who will not even eat pasturized cheese. Then there is one mouse I have heard of who will only eat cheese if it is aged a certain amount of time - no more, no less.

My favourite is blue cheese. Roquefort is wonderfully bold and strident. Then there's the wonderful creamy provencal cheese, that must be eaten only in small bits or it will make one extremely fat mouse.

Ze creator (Pardon, mais I get a bit of a French accent when talking about cheese), who doesn't like ze blue so well, likes a goat cheese made in the Drome Valley in France. It' s a goat cheese and not bad. A little to piquant for my own tastes.

By the way, chevre does not mean goat cheese, despite what the packets seem to imply. No, chevre means simly goat. The cheese, it is implied.

If anyone ever happens to see this, and have a suggestion of cheese I might try, please, let me know of it.
